It was packaged in its original box with all of the original hardware and support material. The item I ordered (a Linksys Wireless Adapter) was at my front door in no time. and the money saved is fantastic. I can't say how nice it is to be able to order something that is really needed and have it arrive promptly. I couldn't believe it. It was described as an item in great shape- and that's how it was.
This is no better, actually worse than, my internal antenae on the laptop. While this may be good for something, I was looking for extended range for piggybacking hot spots.
Very easy install and very easy to use. I purchased this adapter for a third computer in our home.
Great way to extend your network without running wires. I was able to get a very favorable connection from house to garage, which are about 120 feet apart. Installation took about 3 minutes using the enclosed CD.
I guess it helps to use the same brand components in your wireless network system as my wireless router is also a Linksys Wireless G system. It worked so much better than the "flashdrive" sized unit I had tried previously from Amazon. Great product. I just got the adapter today and installed the software first (per instructions) then proceeded to set it up to connect to my wireless network. It worked flawlessly and had no problem connecting to my network which does NOT broadcast the SSID.
